We offer ballistic plates made from various materials, each with unique advantages:
Ceramic Plates:
Advantages: Lightweight, offering excellent NIJ Level IV protection, suitable for users needing the highest protection level and sensitive to weight.
Composition: Typically consists of an aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, or boron carbide ceramic strike face with a UHMWPE or aramid backer.
Use Cases: Military and special police forces, high-threat zones.
UHMWPE Plates (Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene Plates):
Advantages: Extremely lightweight, typically offering NIJ Level III protection. Buoyant properties make them excellent for waterborne operations.
Composition: Entirely constructed from multiple layers of high-pressure consolidated UHMWPE fibers.
Use Cases: Missions requiring high mobility and light weight, such as urban law enforcement, quick response teams.
Steel Plates:
Advantages: Cost-effective, highly durable, good multi-hit performance.
Composition: Special alloy steel, often with an anti-spall coating.
Considerations: Heavier, potential for spall (fragmentation) risk (requires anti-spall coating).
Use Cases: Budget-conscious users, situations where weight is less critical, and high durability is needed.
By resisting threats such as ammunition of medium and small calibers and explosive shrapnel, it significantly reduces the casualty rate on the battlefield and ensures that soldiers maintain their combat effectiveness during firefights.
Suitable for various combat environments (such as mountains, cities, and jungles), it enables quick donning and task-switching by being compatible with bulletproof vest carriers.
Chemically stable, resistant to oxidation and corrosion, suitable for long-term storage or in damp environments.
The composite material is made of alumina and PE. The protection level is NIJ Ⅲ+ it is resistant to 7.62mm and 5.56mm caliber bullets. This ensures reliable protection in various application scenarios.
Our ballistic plates are designed to meet industry standards, fitting easily into the front/rear pockets of most plate carriers and tactical vests, making them an ideal choice for upgrading your protection level.
Special Police/Counter-Terrorism Operations
Drug interdiction operation
Prison riot control
Select ballistic plates based on the expected threat level and ensure compatibility with the vest’s design.
Our commitment to customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. We offer personalized support to guide you through every step of the process, from product selection to delivery. If you have any questions or need assistance, our dedicated customer service team is always here to help.
Q: How do I choose the right ballistic plate for me?
A: Consider the threat type (pistol/rifle), desired protection level, budget, and requirements for weight and flexibility.
Q: Do ballistic plates have an expiration date?
A: Yes, most ballistic plates have a manufacturer's warranty of 5-10 years. Even if not struck, materials degrade over time.
Q: Can ceramic plates still provide protection after being struck?
A: Ceramic plates are generally designed for single-shot effectiveness. After being struck, the protection in that area may be compromised. Multi-hit capability varies by plate design and NIJ testing standards.
